Generate simple and easy - as never before - 3D Pipeline-models. You don't have to be a CAD expert to work with 3skeng. You don't need training or operate a complex system to express your Piping and Channel model concepts in 3D short after installing the software. 3skeng helps you to focus your energy on your projects and not on software that is hard to handle.

"3skeng Pipe" and "3skeng Channel" upgrade Google "SketchUp" with an icon bar and give you access to three powerful tools and a clear structured user interface. We took all the time we needed to develop an easy-to use interface in SketchUp style. We didn't stop before we had no more room for improvement of handling and workflow.
We are convinced: After the installation you will find out that you did never work before with a software that allowed you to generate and edit 3D Pipeline and Channel models in such a fast and efficient way.

"3skeng Pipe"

Pipe Tool – All you need to draw Pipeline models is integrated in only one tool. Pipes, t-pieces, reducers as well as elbows can be generated and strung together in a smooth workflow with only few mouse-clicks. You have access to the most common diameter standards (ANSI, ASME, ISO EN and JIS). Magnetic points and a memory function are powerful parts of the tool ans assist you in the process.
In the conceptual mode you determine the dimensions of fittings with only a few clicks.
In the detail mode (switchable in the 3skeng client) you can use libraries (with additional costs) with dimensions that are available on the market.

"3skeng Channel"

Channel Tool – All you need to draw Channel models is integrated in only one tool. Straight channels, t-pieces, reducers as well as elbows (round and square) can be generated and strung together in a smooth workflow with only few mouse-clicks.
You determine channel dimensions and lenghts with only a few clicks. Magnetic points and a memory function are powerful parts of the tool ans assist you in the process.

Tools that are used by both "3skeng Pipe" and "3skeng Channel"

The following tools are available for "3skeng Pipe" as well as "3skeng Channel".

3skeng client – This control interface give you access to settings and a comprehensive context sensitive tutor. In parallel to the workflow you find here the just in time required selection options and detailed information. Select diameter standards or define the number of circle elements without interrupting your workflow.

Edit Tool – The pipeline model is finish and all connections are built in. Quite often a segment or the end of the pipeline need then to be shifted. With Edit you can modify the Pipeline in all degrees of freedom. The tool is so intuitive that it nearly follows alone your ideas. Use magnetic points or the input of numeric values in a way you know this from SketchUp.

Connect and Rotate Tool – with this tool you can assemble generated Pipeline elements in new order. Magnetic points will help you to connect the elements exact aligned to the pipe center. All elements will be aligned in the pipe direction, which help you to generate very fast technical exact correct models. Elbows and T-pieces can be rotated and aligned directly to the required direction by just touching the pipeline endpoint.

Label Tool – This tool enables you to add text labels to groups and components. Various adjustable parameters allow individual adaptations to the particular label task at hand.
During the automated alignment you determine the position and distance of the labels. Later changes can be made in no time at all.
Good to know: You can label groups and components that were created with "SketchUp", "3skeng Pipe" and "3skeng Channel".

List Tool – After completion of a model there is often the question about the bill of materials. With this tool, we created a forceful answer. You simply mark parts of the model or even the whole model and activate the List Tool. You will get a table that includes all the marked components. The contents of the table can then be copied to another programme for the final editing.
Good to know: The tool considers components that were created with "SketchUp", "3skeng Pipe" and "3skeng Channel". It generates a table for each of the three component types.
